Under this method of construction we provide both design and
construction services under one contract. This offers the following
advantages over traditional design-bid-build project delivery
methods:

Preconstruction Services
On any project the point in time when the greatest savings can
be realized is prior to construction. Barker Morrissey provides the
following pre construction services that allow our clients to
realize these savings on their projects:
- Budgeting Preparation of
preliminary and schematic budgeting to assure that the project
design is within the budget available for construction
- Value Engineering We assist the
architect in fine tuning the scope of the project to stay with in
budget
- Scheduling We provide a preliminary
project schedule that outlines each phase of the work and make
continual updates as the project proceeds from preliminary design
and budgeting through construction documents.
Project Management
Barker Morrissey approaches project management by assuming the
overall coordination of our client's project. We work with clients
during every phase of their project, including:
